To Be Protected From Eviction, YOU MUST CERTIFY RIGHT NOW!

The State of New Jersey and the Centers for Disease Control have implemented new housing protections for households impacted by the pandemic. To be protected from eviction, the following steps must be taken IMMEDIATELY:

1) Visit covid19.nj.gov/pages/renter to certify eligibility for eviction protection. Once certified, send the document to your landlord immediately.

2) Upon certification, you may apply for rental assistance through the NJ Department of Community Affairs.

3) If you do not qualify for protection through the State of NJ, download and complete the Eviction Protection Declaration from the Center for Disease Control and send to your landlord immediately.
